The genesis of RoofRoute began not in a lab, but in the field — on foot, under the Carolina sun, knocking doors. While working with Goliath Roofing, Solis Consulting’s founder set out not just to sell, but to experiment: could AI turn storm damage canvassing into a scalable, data-driven process?

The answer was resoundingly yes.

By embedding parcel-level government data, storm path analytics, and real-time geospatial overlays into an internal tool, RoofRoute was born — a lead-generation platform designed to triple canvassing efficiency by targeting high-probability roofing prospects with surgical precision. Within weeks, the system delivered 3–5 solid leads per day, consistently outperforming seasoned sales reps.

This real-world proof-of-concept validated a key Solis principle: AI shouldn’t just analyze — it should act. RoofRoute fuses infrastructure data with weather intelligence to create actionable canvassing lists and map-based targets. Built with and for contractors, the platform now serves as a commercial product, offering CSV exports, real-time filtering, and enterprise integrations.

What began as a solo experiment under a single roofing company is now a product suite with millions in revenue potential, positioning Solis as a rising leader in applied AI for the built environment.
